The Mackie company is synonymous with superior analog consoles. No where is this more prevalent than in their 8-Bus series of analog consoles. Mackie 16x8 offers a "big console" feature set at an affordable price point without sacrificing quality. The 16x8 offers 16 balanced 1/4" TRS inputs, 16 balanced 1/4" in-line inputs, 8 buses, and a fully parametric EQ section on all channels. 16 ultra low noise mic pre's are also provided. The "Mix B" section features panning, split-EQ and level control. Engineers can use the "Mix B" in-line inputs as multitrack returns or as a seperate mixer for monitor feeds, keyboards etc. 8 buses provide flexible routing of channels to multitrack recorders or monitors. The optional MB-16 meter bridge provides comprehensive metering of all input channels.

In-Line Input Design
There are 16-balanced 1/4" TRS line inputs for instruments, keyboards etc. 16-balanced 1/4" TRS in-line inputs are provided for use as multitrack recorder returns or as additional line inputs.

Eight Bus Routing
The 8 buses allow flexible routing of input channels to 24 (8 buses x3) outputs. This is particularly useful when sending signal to multitrack recorders and monitors simultaneously.

Parametric EQ
Fully paramertic EQ section provides HI MID, LOW MID, HI SHELVING, LOW SHELVING and LOW CUT filter.

Low Noise Mic Pre Amplifiers
16 Ultra-Low-Noise Mic Pre amplifiers provide clean quiet signal with high dynamic range.

Six Aux Sends
6 Auxiliary Sends provide plenty of routing options to effects processors, stage monitors recorders etc.

Inserts
16-Channel inserts, 8-Sub master inserts and L/R Stereo Main inserts allow routing to external signal processors without extensive cabling or patchbays.
